Access the collaborator code
Purpose: give us the 4-digit collaborator request code so we can submit an access request and debug/fix theme issues. The code only lets us submit a request—you still approve access in your admin.
Find your 4-digit code
- Log in to Shopify admin.
- Go to Settings → Users
- Non-organization stores: Settings → Users & permissions.
- Organization/Plus stores: Settings → Users.
- Open Security.
- In Collaborators, click the 4-digit code to copy it. Share this code with us.

Require the code for all requests (recommended)
- Settings → Users (or Users & permissions) → Security.
- In Collaborators, enable Only people with a collaborator request code can send a collaborator request.

Regenerate the code

- Collaborators → Generate new code.
- Confirm. Old codes stop working immediately.

What partners see (context)
Partners request access from the Partner Dashboard and must enter your 4-digit code if required. If the code is wrong, the request isn’t sent.
